Definitely too large for kids. Stays in place and has a Velcro connector for under chin. Not too heavy but it does get a little warm wearing it.

Too small
Item is too small for adult. It’s kid size. Tried to return it and says not eligible for return. Even though delivered today and never used. Do not buy unless it’s for a kid.
