This premium quality neoprene rubber work mat is indispensable for routing, sanding, protecting tools, lining drawers, dampening vibration, and more! The receptive rubber material keeps whatever you put on it in its place. This gives you the ability to use this mat for many different applications around the shop or throughout your home. Use the mat to keep objects from sliding on table tops or keep objects still while working on them. The mat is also water resistant making it easy to clean off the dust when needed. The material is also able to be cut to any size needed for any type of surface or project. The Rubber Router Mat measures approximately 24" wide x 36" long and is 1/8" thick.

Superior to waffle pattern pads
I have use these for 25 years. I like them much better than the waffle pattern bench pads. I have had the waffle pattern pads show through stain but these pads don’t affect the finish.Only downside is that they dry out after 2-3 years. They lose their holding ability and tear/crack. I keep my spares in a sealed plastic bag.

Been using these pads for years for routing and sanding
These pads are thick and do not leave marks on you work. Routing and sanding only. It does not shed glue of any kind. The only downside is the surface quickly looks dirty. an be hand washed or cut to a smaller size. Mine has lasted many years before I replaced.

Indispensible
- If you use a router, you need this router mat.- If you use a finish sander on small pieces, rename it "Sander Pad" and keep your workpieces still and steady.- If you need a non-slip, vibration-absorbing surface to work on, you might even call it a "Anti-Vibration Work Pad".Whatever you want to call it, if you work with wood, you should probably have one or two of these in your shop. And with that... I'm back to work. With my Tan Router Mat under something about to make someone very happy.

Did not hold the wood while sanding.
I had high hopes for this mat since the description stated it was for sanding also. Unfortunately the pieces I tried sanding on this mat would not stay in place. I tried both sides of the mat and got the same results. Since I do not use a handheld router I find this to be a poor investment for me.

My favorite grippy router pads
My favorite router pads. They grip really well. Prefer these over the drawer liner type. They do smell in the beginning, but it does slowly go away. They can be prone to tearing if you try to grab the pad and drag it along the workbench with a heavy item on top. Just treat them with a little care.

Good product for woodworking
I used this type of mat several years ago until it just wore out and got beat up by my router miscalculations. I bought a similar product that had holes in it with a knobbier surface. It worked okay, but dust was always under the mat and it slipped. The Tan Router Mat works great and I highly recommend it. It doesn't slip or gather dust underneath and inside the mat itself.

Nonslip
Have tried other non slip pads that look like drawer liners but this one grips better ans is easier to keep clean.
