I bought this product because many times when I'm running or training I do not like to stop to drink water and thus not cool down. This backpack is great for that since it contains a bag to carry water and is very appropriate for what I want, since easily, while I do my sport, I can take the hose and drink water from the backpack without having to stop at all and also keeps it cool

I was skeptical about this product at first because it didnt have a ton of reviews like similar products but the reviews it did have were good and the price was good so I purchased it.Glad I did! I have only been using this for about a week but have been using it daily to run about 7miles each morning and it doea not leak and does keep my water cold.I have not frozen the pack at all and just add cold water from the fridge each morning. At first it was kinda plasticky/rubbery taste but that has faded.The opening on the bladder is very large! Larger than on my husbands pack...not sure how i like that because it is kinda hard to fill up but easy to clean I guess. Good for adding ice too. I like that the straw has a cap on it and pulls out to drink.I love this product and its so good for my exercise since many times its already nearly 90+ degrees at 6amOhhh I also love the backpack! So much space for other things! And nice little zippers on the belt part for adding cash or credit cards etc. You can add whatever you need and it's still light weight.

I bought this bladder backpack to replace my older one whose zippers broke because I tried to fit too much into it. This backpack has much roomier than my previous one so I liked that about it. The insulation kept the water very cool on a hot day and there wasn't the usual condensation at my back that I had with my other backpack. Two things that caused the 4 stars as opposed to 5. The waistband pockets, where I was looking to fit my phone, are not big enough. I have an iPhone 6 (one of the smaller iPhones) so that was disappointing. Also, I found out on my last hike that the orange part of the upper strap is actually a whistle in case of danger, rescue, etc. Was excited on learning this new detail, but when I tried it, it did not work. Overall a good backpack.

This pack is really fantastic, especially for the price! I have been doing frequent day hikes now that the weather is nice and this pack is perfect for it. I love all of the pockets and compartments throughout. It makes it very easy to separate hiking necessities from water and food/snacks. The bladder is great as well, there is a nice slot for the drinking tube to feed through and it clips to one of the straps for easy access. The small zipper pockets on the waist clip are great for a small wallet or cash/ID's as well as keys, however they are definitely not large enough to fit a phone. I like that the positioning of the chest strap can be adjusted too. On a particularly hot day, I was able to put two frozen water bottles in the pack leaning against the bladder section and it kept the contents of the bladder nice and cold for the duration of the hike. I can fill this pack and it still feels lightweight on my back. The only gripe that I have is that the straps are pretty long, but I was able to tuck them into the pack so they didn't get in the way while hiking. Overall I would highly recommend this product!

Used this for trip to Utah. Unlike other reviewers, didn't experience a bad taste & the price is an advantage However, here are the drawbacks...- Takes some effort to drink thru "straw". I found you have to bite the tip to get an ok flow.- If you're doing a long hike where you need to take additional water, there is not enough room in the bag to accommodate an additional large water container. Not really adequate storage overall when water reservoir is full.- Cleaning is a bit of a pain. Need to scrub reservoir, then disinfect with water tablets. Even after hand drying as much as possible, some water stays in corners of reservoir & you need to find an object to insert so air can get in and finish the drying process. (I do realize this is probably the same for any reservoir in any model backpack.)

My husband and I recently got into hiking. First time we went for a 3 hour hike we went with cups in our hands which led to frustration on carrying the cup and not enough water. We wanted to be prepared for the next time so I began looking at hydration backpacks and most were over $100. Our hobby is maybe 2 times a month so there is no need for every bell and whistle. I found this backpack for $25 for everything I needed. Right amount of pockets and off course the water pack. The straw is super convenient and the water kept rather cool for the full 3 hours. The back pack was comfortable and easy to put on. It held everything I needed it to! For $50 for 2 of these backpacks it was a win win for sure! Super happy about this purchase! ....Also make sure you rinse the water packs for a solid day before drinking out of, gets rid of plastic taste!

It was PERFECT!I have a back and neck injury, but still enjoy hiking.In the past, I would just carry a regular backpack for our hikes, and within an hour, my back would be killing me.This backpack was so lightweight, but such great quality!I could carry the water bladder, our lunch and other snacks, my wallet, etc.Lots of extra storage space, and I like the insulated part to keep food cold.The best part...it never hurt my back or shoulders!It’s so lightweight, and the 2 buckles helped keep the backpack close to my body (which is great for people that have a bad back)I highly recommend.

I was so happy to find this backpack for my hike. Great size, good water reservoir and appeared to be sturdy. It's everything I wanted except there was a tear in one of the seams that I didn't notice until the morning of the hike. It was too late to return it, so I packed carefully, making sure I didn't over pack. I didn't want the tear to get bigger. Other than the defect, the backpack was perfect for our day outdoors. I took off one star for the rip in the seam.
