Carat Stunning Baby Lace Satin Christening Dress Baptism Gowns with Bonnet 3-24M

I am beyond pleased with this beautiful dress purchased for our granddaughter's blessing. I researched a lot, and after seeing beautiful pictures of royal babies, I decided I wanted that classic, timeless look for our little princess. There are many beautiful dresses, but this long flowing style that drapes over the person holding the baby is a style that only an infant (not walking) could practically wear. So, a once in a lifetime thing really. My 30 year old daughter thought out would be too much, but when she saw it on her she said "yes to the dress!" I could not stop staring at it when I opened the package! Lol! I started taking pictures of the dress immediately. It came out of the package perfect and I only needed to iron out the four long satin ribbons, which took about 5 minutes with a flat iron (yes, the kind you use for hair.)I thought we would have her wear a headband, but she looked so precious without and it shows off her precious baby hair! Just the way we want to remember her as a baby.SIZING: I would say this runs at least one size small compared to other clothes. She is 7 months old, 14 pounds, 3 oz., 26" long. She wears size 3-6 months clothes in dresses (Rare Editions, Nanette, Carter's), can wear a few 6-9 with room to grow. The size 12 month fit nicely with just enough wiggle room and easy to get on and off.QUALITY: Excellent, 5 stars! The lace was perfect (I examined it and only found 2 tiny threads to clip). Sewn well. The buttons button with grosgrain ribbon loops and take a minute, but there are only three. I thought at first they weren't going to stay closed, but we tried it on and had a practice run. They stayed buttoned the entire church service and pictures the day she wore it.DETAILS/STYLING (WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR): This looks like a $600 dress! This is two pieces. There is a plain satin gown (which is also beautiful and could be worn alone) that is FULLY LINED! with a soft cotton lining. Then the soft lace open front overlay with pearl buttons and a detailed and exquisite bodice with sewn on pearls. Two chiffon rosettes at the lace collar, two satin bows with long ribbons hanging down. The skirt is just the right amount of fullness and lays beautifully. It comes with a matching sweet, simple bonnet, but honestly we didn't want to use it and forgot to even try it on, but it was fully lined and soft.COLOR: Soft Ivory-not "white white, not cream." I thought I wanted "white white." But when I saw this compared to a white one I had, this was just more beautiful, and perfect for this style.COMFORT: 5 stars! My only concern was that our little baby would not be comfortable or get hot. She overheats easily. But this dress is fully lined with a very soft lining, the material/lace is soft to the touch (not cheap and stiff)-in fact she loved touching it and playing with the lace), and she did not get hot at all.WHAT I LOVE MOST!: Timeless style, the pearls details and buttons, quality-it was a bit of a splurge, but it looks like a $600 dress, and is definitely heirloom quality. It is also comfortable and wrinkle-proof.TIPS: This is way too much dress to ride safely in a car seat, so plan on dressing when you get there. She wore a camisole-type onesie under, but a regular short sleeve would work fine under these sleeves. She also wore tights and Robeez shoes, but you could not see them.Our sweet girl had heart surgery at 4 months old, so it really was a special dress for our little princess heart warrior for this special, sacred occasion.

This is the second time I ordered this item, it is too small for a 6 month old it does not fit. I was sent the same size both times. Please check my new order and ensure it is the size I ordered. 6 and 2 month was the same size, did not fit.

What a beautiful gown!!!!!! Looks and feels like a $500 gown. Very similar to the one I saw at a local boutique but a LOT cheaper! However, it runs very small and luckily I read the reviews to go one size up. My daughter wears size 12months dresses (carters, tcp, gymboree). Shes 19lbs 28” long and is 11months. I ordered 18months for this gown and it fits perfect with a little wiggle room and onesie to wear under. It is lined with soft cotton which doesnt itch despite of the lace material. It is absolutely beautiful. Classic and an heirloom gown. Highly recommended and remember to order one size bigger.

Amazing! The dress fits my 16lb 9 month old snug, but not too tight. Perfect for what we wanted. We ordered a size 12 months. This dress takes your breath away, everyone that I have shown it too this far is amazed at the craftsmanship in the dress. The top button seems to bother my daughter a little, so I didn't button the top one. I'm assuming it's the lace. The bonnet, is equally beautiful. It's stretchy so could fit all heads. I will send pictures after next weekend. Can't wait.

THIS DRESS WAS WAY TOO SMALL.My daughter is currently in between 3-6 and 6-9 month clothing in the typical U.S. brands (Carter's, First Impressions, Koala, etc.). I bought this in the 9 mo. size and the 12 mo. size after skimming through some reviews and seeing that it ran small. NEITHER OF THEM FIT MY DAUGHTER. THEY WERE WAY TOO TIGHT. It was tragic because the dress is absolutely gorgeous and unlike anything you can buy in the typical stores (hence 2 stars).

I took the time and followed the measuring instructions, the dress fit my baby perfectly. The dress is very nice and our baby girl looked amazing in it.

Fits a little small, I got this for my 2 month old and it fit snug. The lace around the neck bugged her a bit bc it had a collar design. I put her in a long sleeve onsie which helped. Over all it was well made and held up nicely.
