This may be the best thing I have ever bought for my kids - ages 3 and 5. They love it, I love it. It's SUPER fun. It fills up with about 1" of water if you have it on a completely level surface, and you can then adjust the spray depending on your water pressure, to be really soft and short, or higher and crazy. My kids tend to like it high and crazy. We have been using it for the past 2 days, and they will use it for HOURS. Fantastic. So fun. We have a kiddie pool, and they totally ignore the pool to play with this instead.Things to note - if it's not on a completely flat surface, the water won't pool up in it properly and it'll pour out. It still works as a sprinkler but isn't quite as fun.It get slippery. I wouldn't put it on a hard surface like concrete. Sometimes the kids slip and fall. Water shoes might be good to help prevent slipping.You have to keep the water hose on the whole time, so it does go through some water. Totally worth it but be aware of that.Water does spray out of the bounds of the item so it is going to wet the surrounding area, and it will get the yard muddy around it if it's grassy/dirt. You could use a tarp beneath to mitigate that some.I would probably try not to have the hose on more than 1/2 pressure to prevent it from eventually damaging the integrity of the item and eventually busting seams, etc.We put a slide next to it and our kids had fun sliding into it... and we eventually put it right next to / half way in a homemade sandbox we have (flat and dug into the ground to be like a beach,) and now we have a beach in our backyard.Where was this when we were kids?I recommend to every parent.Best thing ever.Love it.

My grandson loves this thing! Every weekend he comes over saying Pool! Pool! Pool! These hot days have been a challenge for a 2 year old who loves to play outside. Then add social distancing and the lockdown to it. But this water toy has made it easier. We put our feet in it and simply enjoy the water and watching him play and get more comfortable with water in general. Yes, very durable! HE puts all of his trucks in this thing! He sits on the sides and pounces on it with no issue at all. Enjoy!

Kid enjoys. Easy to connect and use. Not very thick on bottom but seems well made. Makes a nice pool of water for kids to splash around and enjoy. The sprinkles get pretty high up also depending on the water pressure

This is the second splash pad that I have purchased. The first was difficult to connect & when I did it leaked or popped out. That being said, customer service gave me a refund. A friend recommended Peridex and I can happily report that the connection was easy and water does not dribble or leak from the hose. I have a 2 year old & it would work quite well if she had a little friend join her. It would accommodate a young child or two with an adult (if the adult is sitting). We purchased a foam pad to place under it because our patio is brick. Fun for kids and encourages pretend play.

Had to write this review as several people said it didn’t work properly. Some said the streams of water shot outward, rather than inward. Easily fixed by a slight movement of the ‘water inflated’ part, or straightening the flat part. Love that you can adjust the spray height, which we did when our two grandsons (5 & 2 1/2) played with it last weekend. Well worth the $, & just saw it’s on sale !!!! Very easy/quick set up.

The media could not be loaded.  We have been using it for three weeks already and my daughter loves it. It is so hot this summer, that it helps a lot refreshing her and she loves to do splashes in it ! Quality looks good. So far so good. And the little animals on the backgrounds are pretty cool too. Worth the price. You will see your kids running around it all the time ! Splash !

My 5 year old grandson loves playing on this water mat. He is developmentally delayed and is afraid of many things, especially new things. He played in the water with the spraying off at first and quickly loved splashing and thrashing in the water. The mat is about 4 inches deep. Deep enough to get wet and splash around in but not deep enough to scare a special needs child. He asked to have the sprays turned on very quickly and loved that too. This is a great water play mat and I recommend it.
