I've been dealing with my integrated wifi card problems for my HP pavillion dv6/7 laptop for the longest time - and could never solve the issue at all. My wifi use to switch off after a short period, and stay like that until i reenabled, i had to uninstall and reinstall everytime - and even when it worked, i would only get 20 mbps on the 2.4mhz connection at MAX.Now... after installing THIS baby, she is going 50-60 mbps on a 2.4mhz connection! What the hell have i been doing with my life.... i always thought it was my internet provider's fault or the modem/wifi box. No more problems now! Easy install, and i chose the antenna one thinking it is better to receive signal or better range or w/e.OH, and it does get 5g connection - the hp card that my laptop came with didnt even get that - so i just upgraded by getting this. Perfect and cheap, i would recommend this one.If you dealing with the same situation as how I use to have, be sure once you get this, disable the old wifi receiver for your laptop's card in device manager. Connecting to the wifi works normally as if it was a part of the computer, or you have the option of using the software it comes with.Also... i just realized i could use this for my desktop too! This thing is great. lolEdit: Just checked the signal from the other side of my house, and it still receives signal and maintains its 50 mbps! My old integrated wifi would only seem to work 3/4 way. I could probably go to the street with this thing. :D

I'm not sure if it was my area or my Wi-Fi, or even my laptop but my Wi-Fi was awful. Some days just unusable. So at one point I decided to try out a network adapter and this one was the Amazon Choice. Since I know nothing about Wi-Fi adapters I trusted Amazon and there's a reason why Autley's was Amazon's Choice. I was worried because my I can't use cd's but it wasn't an issue. The link in the description worked perfectly and the little booklet that it came with had easy instructions for setup. Even though I've only had this adapter for a few days my Wi-Fi has seen no issues. I would easily recommend this to anyone who has Wi-Fi issues because I was ready to buy a new laptop but this device has saved me lots of money. And like I said, I'm no tech savvy person and even I could set this up.

I just plugged it into my desktop and it immediately began working.There has been no issues with connection speed in the past month of owning the product. It has been very consistent overall.The only drawback of purchasing this wifi adapter is the price. The "60% off" tag is just to make you seem like you are getting a good deal, but the non discounted price of $39.99 is a complete rip off for a 600 Mbps wifi adapter. Most other companies are charging $16 on average, so they are actually giving you the normal price, not really a discounted one. $16 is still quite pricey for an adapter when it is available for as low as $2-3 from China. If you don't want to wait 3 weeks for shipping and this product is around $15-16, this wifi adapter is definitely worth buying.

So far, this WiFi adapter has worked amazingly well for me... I have a not-too-old Dell with an integrated Intel N-7260 chipset that has just never worked properly... random disconnects, inability to keep consistent transfer speeds (from both internal networks and the web), inability to see 5G networks, stuttering when streaming FLAC audio, etc... Ever since I got this replacement adapter, all those problems have disappeared. I was worried about the off-branding but I've been pleasantly surprised. It's nice to have a stable connection again.

The internal wifi adapter in my laptop died. I ordered this adapter based on the reviews I read and after comparing it with other adapters. My laptop runs Windows 10 Home with the most current build. I plugged it into a USB port, and it worked right out of the box without having to run the CD or install drivers. So far, it is performing superbly. I highly recommend this adapter. It is a great value and a great adapter.

So i've had this for about a year now. movies or games, it works and i can't tell the difference between this and being hooked directly up to the router via cable. And that's coming from someone who is a die hard cable to router kind of guy that normally hates wireless everything

I am extremely pleased with the boost in speed of my ASUS laptop using this WiFi adapter. Using the built-in WiFi, download speed was 11.51, upload speed 9.40. After installation, the speed is now: download 22.92, upload 9.98. I think that says it all. One more comment. My first unit failed after about 11 months! I was still in the warranty period and contacted Autley. They very quickly responded to my message (though Amazon) and after attempting a fix, they promptly sent me a new unit which is working flawlessly. Thank you, Autley!

This Wifi adapter can easily become over heated and your speeds will throttle, and in some cases drop connection. Furthermore, I've had issues where I've had to uninstall the driver and reinstall it. So far I've had the best results by plugging this into a front USB port as opposed to a rear port. While plugged into the rear the exhaust fans put out too much heat for this to stay cool.

I am using this adapter with a raspberry Pi3 for an external antenna for an access point for a project. It works very well. If you an on using it on a Linux platform for AP, you will need to compile the kernel mode driver and hostapd with support for that driver using the source provided on the CD. I used dnsmasq as the dhcp server. This specific application is complex and is not a light undertaking, but it does work.I am very pleased with this adapter.

This is awesome. My wifi speed test with download speed 140+ and upload speed almost 15mb/sec.And the prodcut is so tiny doesnt consume any extra space (●′ω`●)

Needed a signal boost on a budget. This installed without needing the driver disk on windows 7. Great product!

Better than expected performance. Instructions included are out of date. Thankfully it was easy to set up.

Works as advertised. Picked up my Wi-Fi signal from downstairs no problem.
