Renovate your garage floor with our perforated interlocking floor tiles made in the USA. With the dual grid perforated (drain) design, the tiles tend to look two-toned when viewed at an angle. These floor tiles are engineered as a drain tile to allow water or snow to drain easily. BlockTile perforated tiles are comprised of a non-toxic, high-impact polymer (non-rubber), which is a rigid, lightweight, and strong material capable of supporting heavy loads. Though it is a rigid product, it will conform to a slightly uneven surface. The tiles can support the weight of vehicles and heavy tools that are commonly stored in a garage. In addition, they have a non-slip surface design as seen in the pictures. There is no surface preparation needed other than sweeping the garage floor clean. No special tools are required. BlockTile perforated tiles use a loop-to-peg interlocking system. Installation is as simple as snapping the tiles together like a children's block set. The tiles interlock together by aligning the peg to the loop and pressing down with your fingers or a small rubber mallet. The interlocked tiles create a "floating floor." When installing the tiles, it is important to leave a 1/2-inch gap minimum around permanent objects to prevent buckling. Most garage floor installations use ramp edges on the entrance of the garage in order for the vehicles to smoothly transition from the concrete driveway to the interlocking tile floor. This is recommended in order to extend the life of the interlocking tiles and to minimize the movement of the floating floor. The tiles are UV resistant, which also makes them ideal for use over wooden decks or outdoor patios because they are attractive, but strong for using with patio furniture.
