Very Sturdy
Needed a step on my boat trailer for my sailboat. Hitchmate Boat Trailer Step fit the bill. Easy to install and very sturdy. Can install anywhere on the trailer frame so I could put in an optimal location. Does not budge at all when you step on it. Great product.

Ease of access to boat
This step is very sturdy and it gets me in and out of the boat safely. I would have gave it 5 stars but the screws are almost 3 inches longer than needed. You can either tighten for a half hour or cut them.

Heavy duty
Got a couple of these for my small boat trailer so I wouldnt ruin the fenders. I found these to be extremely heavy duty. It looks like the bolts are grade 8 metal is finished good and anti skid looks quality.Bottom line I would recommend if you need a step.

For under $40 - this thing is very strong and ...
For under $40 - this thing is very strong and made with thick steal. I was surprised and certainly not complaining. I gave it a “4” for the overall strength of it. I’d give it a “3” for the hardware. One of my nuts were stripped (I couldn’t get it to ‘start’) - Also - when I tightened everything down - one of the bolts stripped. I ended up modifying it later to sit lower-closer to the frame (new holes) and cut it short so it didn’t hang down so low. I ended up buying new bolts/nuts/washers. For only $40 - it was easier to modify it to my application.

Solid sturdy step
Built well. Very solid and sturdy. I'd give it 5 stars if the American company made this in America and not Taiwan.

Nice addition to my boat trailer
I added it up front so I can safely get in and out of boat when launching and recovering solo. It works great and was easy to install. Heavy construction it looks and works good.

Good trailer step.
Well made. Non slip surface is great. Wish it was a little wider to get two feet on. Where I installed it on my boat trailer the frame is about a 1.5" wide and had to add 3 more 3/8" washers to each bolt to make a tight fit to the frame. Step includes 4 washesr, nuts, and bolt.
