Plenty of power with low vibration.
I previously had a corded Dremel oscillating tool that finally stopped working after years of use. Power, low vibration and reliability are key with me since I am a contractor. And I rely on my tools to pay my bills. I was going to purchase a corded Fein oscillating tool, but decided to go with the Milwaukee M18 Fuel oscillating tool because I wanted the convenience of it being cordless. I am extremely pleased with the performance and low vibration of this tool. The auto speed controlIs a great feature. My only complaint is that I wish it would stand straight up from the battery, instead of having to lay it down.

Nice Addition to the Tool Bag
I finally had my corded oscillator go down for the count so I needed a replacement. As a general contractor, many of my primary tools (drill, impact driver, circular saw, recip saw, etc.) are cordless Milwaukee tools. Already owning a sufficient number of batteries, I opted to purchase this as tool only. This tool has afforded me a greater deal of versatility when making both general and precision cuts. I keep a large variety of different blades for this tool to suit almost any application. I especially like not having to worry about a power cord when using it on a ladder. It cuts very well, is easy to control and is no louder than any other tool in this category. The handle is relatively ergonomic and runs for a long time on a single battery.

Nice tool to splurge on.
So many odd uses for this that makes it so handy and hard to do jobs without it now. For nearly 2 decades in construction from residential to commercial ive seen these things come and go in the field. From receptacle box attachments that i once laughed at too cutting door jams out for flooring. It just seemed like a niche tool for odd jobs. Then i decided to build a deck where i needed a tool to cut some siding out in a tight spot where a sawzall wouldnt do the job. This tool exceeded my expectations for its usefulness. I used 5/4 deck boards and found myself using this to notch for every post. Trust me i have plenty of professional tools that i could've used instead but this was easy. I also added some 45⁰ supports off my 6x6 post and used this to sort of notch out where it landed on a joist hanger. It did the job without hesitation. If i had to add one con to the tool and it's more a flaw on the cutting blade than tool itself is that it simply doesnt cut metal very well. Standard non hardened metals yes but if you need to say cut a nail then fully expect a destroyed blade, excessive noise and a lengthy process to remove compared to other tools.

MILWAUKEE cordless multi use tool
I was a little skeptical when I bought this tool, my friend has one and says it come in really handy. Well, he is right! I used it yesterday to sand the inside cutout for all outlets on pegboard I put up in the garage, the triangle sanding attachment fit perfectly and did a great job. I can't wait to see how many times I reach for this new buzzy tool. Thanks, Milwaukee.

Powerful and built to last, but….
This tool is a workhorse. The M18 FUEL Multi-Tool cuts through wood, drywall, and even nails with ease. It runs smooth with less vibration than other tools I’ve used, and the LED light is a nice touch for attic or tight space work.Blade changes are quick with the tool-free system, but be aware: the locking screw can loosen during heavy use, and the blade might fall off if you don’t check it regularly. A little frustrating, but easy to manage once you know.Still, it’s one of the best multi-tools out there. Great power, great build, and a solid addition to the M18 lineup. Just tighten that screw and you’re good to go.
