"Nine Fingers," a character in Joe Abercrombie books says you can never have too many knives and I concur. I was going to write that I have bought these 3 times when I discovered it was 4 times in like 3 years. If you are looking for a wood courved contoured handle, top of the line utility knife that everyone wants to marvel over and borrow, this is not the knife for you. BUT, if holds a knife securely, is easy to change a blade, does not get too gummed up even when carving (yes carving) drywall, does not break when dropped often, doesn't jab you in the butt when you keep in your pocket, AND THE BEST part, no one wants to borrow because the colors make it look like like cheap crap, this is spot on. . They are cheap and if you are like me who drops the knife under a deck, under a floor, into a floor joist with insulation or one of your creepions swipes it from you and would rather write off the $1.50 rather than fish for it, look for it, or throttle your kids for taking it, THIS IS THE KNIFE FOR YOU!!! Everybody needs a box cutter.And you cannot get any cheaper than these, plus, you get enough to share with someone else, or to keep one in the kitchen and one in the garage or your toolbox. I keep the plastic protector over the blade, as I am prone to bleeding from the slightest cut. Nice safety feature I might add.If you order a lot of stuff off Amazon, you have a supply of boxes to put in the trash, and most could be cut down in some way. Even the ones you save can store better when flat, so think about doing it instead of throwing them into the closet. Tape is easy to apply as well, when reusing the boxes.

These are great for breaking down boxes and opening plastic packaging that is impossible to open without a razor blade sharp cutter like this. The handle is strong heavy plastic. These are not heavy metal contractor grade, but would last a good while cutting sheetrock. They are great for household purposes and since they are lightweight, are easy to carry in a purse or pocket. They come with 10 replacement blades and the blades are strong and extremely sharp of high quality. I am ordering a second set of 4 because you can never have too many blades around for opening packages or cutting things.

Good product for the price. The handles are plastic, so I don't know how long they will last, but you do get 4 and extra blades. Great for cutting boxes from Amazon, but maybe not durable enough for a construction site.

These are very wonderful box cutters! I love the bright colors! They cut well and are easy to use. It isn't hard to open and close them and I love the little blade guard. Perfect for a man or woman!

This 5 pak of box cutters are pretty nice. I'm buying a set because I never have one around when I need it, it's always somewhere else, so with 5 more, hopefully, I'll always be able to at least find one! The opening/latching mechanism appears to work just fine, and the action is tight. I'd prefer an unlocking pin on the side, but these are on the top rear. Personal preference I guess. The only other comment I'd make is that I wish they were about 1/2" longer in the hand grip. I have larger hands, and these are just a TAD small. Otherwise, they are just fine.

These are great box openers! The blade is incredibly sharp. We open up a lot of Amazon boxes around here, and use these to open up all of those boxes. We've been using them for weeks now and I haven't detected the blade strength deteriorating at all. They are extremely well made and easy to use with good grip as well. I love how easy it is to open and close the blade, so I don't have to worry about cutting myself.
