Sterling tarnishes and silver plating wears off really fast, so this seemed like a decent alternative. These beads do appear to be one metal all the way through, but stainless steel is not as bright as silver so I was disappointed when I first saw them, especially before I took them out of the plastic packaging. (The plastic makes them look duller and grayer than they actually are.) I agree with another reviewer who said they look great once you put them on a piece of jewelry. You somehow don't notice that they're not quite as white as real silver, and it's nice that they will never tarnish and there is no plating to wear off. They are about the size of a #6 seed bead but with a slightly larger hole, which is nice. The little box they come in is handy and you get a large quantity. The only reason I took off a star is because there is a small seam on one side of the sphere, but it doesn't show unless the bead happens to turn at just the right angle, and even then, you can barely see it.

When I first opened these I thought they were so dark like gun metal, I didn’t think they were going to work but after putting them in a bracelet boy did I change my mind, they are so beautiful and look great with a sterling clasp and chain! I have tried sterling beads but they lose their color so I’m trying these, I will update in a few months of wear to let y’all know how they last. 😃

I love these tiny beads to use with my smaller beads and crystals. They give it just enough to dress it up without overwhelming the beauty of the beads

304ステンレスというのは虚偽です。磁石に付いたので良くてもSUS403。悪いと鉄にニッケル鍍金。多分こっちかな？どちらも割と簡単に錆びます。海釣りに使う予定でしたが無理です。悪質なので返品できますね。

These are real stainless steel, but the opening hole is quite small. It’s supposed to be 1mm, but it barely goes on my 0.8mm cord! Still usable but a bit finicky.
