Great snake hook for venomous snakes.
its a great snake hook i use it personally for venomous snakes, but overall i'd say it works well very durable, i would recommend it to anyone in the market for a good snake hook, i gave it a 4 instead of 5, because the packaging was poor causing my hook to be thrashed around inside the box and it had some scratches on the tip of the hook from ripping threw the box and rubbing on something hard enough to put a small dent and scratches in it making it a little rough to the touch on the tip. (not happy about that part), Otherwise the Hook is perfect. Try to improve your shipping to prevent other products from getting damaged.

You cant tell from the photos naturally, but its light weight, yet still durable. its a golf club style handle so im sure it will be strong as all get out. Its got a nice padded hook with an overall solid level of quality. im happy. I cant see you doing much better. This one is the one to buy id say.

It is what it is. A golf club handle with a hook. For getting the shakes out of the yard it beats dropping to one's knees and grabbing them behind the head. Now I can pin their necks and bend over to pick them up. Know your snakes before attempting. They will all bite! I don't even try with poisonous snakes.

Gift purchase
Bought as a gift for son; he is into reptiles; and has wanted this for a long time. I suspect he will get a lot of use out of it while exploring during camping trips, etc.

The grip is very strong and works smoothly. The jaws are creased to grip the snake and prevent wiggling out of the grip.

my first snake hook
Husband already had a great snake hook but we decided we needed a second one now that I go out in the field with him. This one is perfect for me and it has the wider hook than my husband's which is great for the heavier bodied reptiles. Lightweight and easy for me to carry in the field.
