Amazing portable coffee maker
I bought this as a birthday gift for my cousin who's a coffee enthusiast. It arrived in a beautiful high quality box packaging with clear instructions. The presentation is beautiful!!! The machine fit in your hand and it is solid build quality. It doesn't look or feel cheap whatsoever. The machine heats up the water in approximately 3-4 minutes and it makes a very flavorful cup of hot coffee using your own grinds or nespresso capsules with great crema. I even bought him the separate attachment to make a double espresso cup and it the coffee comes out even darker and stronger. So you definitely have options depending on how one likes their brew.I can tell you that he loves the OutIn machine and takes it with him everywhere and even has it in his car's cup holder so he can brew coffee as he drives (make sure you either have someone with you in the car to help unscrew the cup without spilling hot coffee on your lap as you take your hands off the wheel or pull over to avoid a potential car accident or burning your lap).I would definitely highly recommend it to any coffee lover and outdoor enthusiast. I'm thinking of buying one for myself as well.

Great machine for travel
Had this 3 months, have put approximately 100 shots through it. It makes espresso very similar to a Nespresso machine - it uses espresso pods! The real neat trick is you can take it with you whenever you please- I’ve used it on a plane, on a long drive, and traveling when hotels have bad coffee. If you can preheat the water it will last forever- a recent three week trip to China I made 2-3 a day and it was still on 4/4 battery lights. Been getting 4 shots reliably from room temp, sometimes 5. One bonus: my son got stung by a jellyfish during a recent beach trip, and to make a warm compress I ran water through it without a coffee pod directly onto a towel. It worked great and got rid of the pain/swelling from the jellyfish sting!I’ve found the build quality to be excellent, feels like a really nice product.

unreasonably great automatic portable espresso machine
I have been using the outin nano as my daily espresso machine for ~ 6 months now, and it has become one of my favorite products across all of the things that I own. I have extensively used both the included nespresso adapter and the nano basket plus (separate accessory). For ~$200 with accessories, this little machine makes exceptional coffee that stands up as a daily driver. The nano basket makes a significantly better shot than nespresso pods, but the pods are hard to beat for convenience. The basket does require attention to grind size and mass of coffee for consistent results. Also, and unsurprisingly, there is no shot pressure control, so grind size, mass, and amount of water used are the only variables available to adjust your extraction. If you don't yet have a grinder you like, I've found that ~17.5g of Illy's classic espresso grind or decaf is a good place to start. I have not used the included espresso basket as it is significantly smaller than the nano basket and has too many plastic components for my comfort.Beyond making a solid cup of espresso, this unit really shines in it's portability- it can be tossed in a bag for car camping, road trips, or hotel stays. It is sheer luxury to be able to get back to a hotel or AirBnB late or wake up early to dependably delicious coffee. Also, for those who are nomadic, it is liberating to be able to stick your espresso setup in a bag as you move from one location to the next. More amazing, in a pinch, espresso can be made completely on battery power (as opposed to using a kettle to boil the water first), though this uses up battery life fast.I also purchased outin's stand, which seems expensive at $40, but is well built and so far sturdy enough to stand up to daily use. Also, it is surprisingly helpful, and I would not want to go back to not having it. The other necessary accessory is a scale, I have had good luck with this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097Q89BZN?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1.I do have some nits. The chief one is that if you plan to make multiple shots of espresso back to back, the metal basket gets quite hot / somewhat challenging to empty and refill. I am hopeful that they will make it possible to buy multiple baskets without needing to buy a full kit to make this issue go away. Also, my first outin broke after ~ a month from what was likely a manufacturing defect. However, Outin responded quickly to my support request and sent me a replacement unit with very little back and forth. The replacement has worked flawlessly since.Overall, I have really enjoyed my outin nano and recommend it highly.

It’s a Must Have
I have used this unit for weeks now at home.Things that I like about the Outin Nano:You can make espresso drinks anywhere. Devices like this inspire me to find places I can bring this for a latte on the go. I will bring it on a picnic soon. The unit is stylish in design and feels well made. After running a first run of hot water through the unit, it can make really hot rich espresso (I’ve only used capsules so far and enjoy each drink). Drink this from a Yeti for best results. It’s compact enough. The battery lasts a long time if you are not using the heat function.Things I don’t like:Possible messes of hot water during handling. A hand towel is a must. Pack it with the unit.I’ve burned my hand putting the lid back on after pouring in boiling water. Be careful.Additional accessories are needed to fully maximize use of the unit such as the double sized chamber for ground espresso and the carrying case. Oh and they sell a stand that allows the unit to rest on it over your mug. Without the stand you are forced to hold this over your mug while dispensing that can get tiresome.I really enjoy how easy it is to use the capsules so far. I like this unit a lot. I wasn’t sure if buying such an expensive espresso maker would outperform a generic version. I tested both out using the same capsules in both and you can taste a difference between the espresso shots. The Outin espresso tastes distinctly better.

Compact, portable espresso machine.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Portability quality of the espresso shot and the fact that it heated the water up also. Works better than I expected it to well engineered little machine.
