Firm but comfortable
Actually turned the support for under the neck to the top. It's firm yet comfortable. Wanted to prevent somewhat head tilt and it helps. Had no problem with smells etc.May modify a pillow case to fit it both in width and an overlap to help prevent it from working out of the case. Wouldn't mind if the "wings" were a little wider for side sleeping.

The best pillow ever
I have only slept on this pillow for two nights but my neck pain is gone. I know some people find it quite hard but I have ordered between 15 and 20 different pillows and I returned them all. Some of them were like a rock. I have deteriorated disks in my neck and this pillow is perfect for me. I am so excited that I finally found the pillow for me. The cost is nothing compared to how it has changed my life. Thank you.

This pillow is helping
I’m trying to learn how to sleep on my back and this pillow has been super helpful thus far. I tried others without much luck. I still sleep on my side from time to time but at least I’m no longer sleeping on my stomach which was daily for me. It’s only been a week or so, I hope progress will continue.

Worked sooo well at first and then lost it's loft within a month!
I was so thrilled by this pillow at first. I was a little skeptical, since right out of the box it was quite flimsy and cushy, but I was hopeful. I went with a softer pillow this time due to my last pillow hardening over a the first year I had it. The first 2 weeks this pillow worked like a dream. I had wonderful sleep and no more pain. Then the pillow stopped supporting my neck. It lost its loft. I even gave it to my young, small daughter instead thinking the less loft would be ideal for her, but she even decided it would not work for her either., since it mashed all the way down to the mattress. This is the second contoured pillow I've bought this year that has either turned hard and lost it's shape or has been too soft to keep its loft. I'm back to square one and losing hope. I'm hoping since one was too hard and one too soft, hopefully the next one will be just right!
