If you’re dealing with a firm and uncomfortable mattress and want a cheap alternative to purchasing a new mattress then this is for you!!! I had been on a 3 month long journey looking for a mattress that works for me and landed on a firmer one because of the support it provided however, I knew I needed something comfy on top (I was looking for that perfect cozy pillow top feel). All to say that this topper has given me that comfiness I was looking for. But I didn’t stop at the topper I also got myself a fluffy comforter-like topper to place on top of this one and it’s a 10/10 ⭐️. PROS: Price, comfort, doesn’t make me sweat at night. CONS: n/a.

I’ve used a couple mattress toppers and this one’s great. Not mind blowing but very comfy, makes our cheap mattress much better.

The topper is greatly compressed for shipping in a vacuum bag. It's amazing the little space it occupied for shipment. After opening it'll take about an hour or more to let it relax and gain its final form (like Gozer from Ghostbusters).The foam is supportive as you'd expect. The only negative to mention is the odor of the foam. It has an almost burn-popcorn smell. It is not strong and appears to be dissipating with time. If you're sensitive to this, I'd suggest releasing the pad and let it sit for a week before pitting it into the bed.

UPDATE: 4/25/2024It's been a couple of weeks and we still like this foam topper but we recently added a padded mattress cover and love it even more! The two combined are giving us the best night's sleep. I tried another topper before and it was too hard but it was also 3 or 4 inches. I'm thinking the best is to get 2 inch topper plus a padded mattress cover. I think that is the key to fixing a firm mattress. Hope this helps!ORIGINAL REVIEW: 4/12/2024This came very well packaged and expanded quickly but I waited 5 days before using because I wanted to make sure that it fully expanded first. We've only used it a couple of nights but we love it so far. We have an expensive and great quality mattress that is only 3 years old. It's still comfortable when we lay in it but when we wake up we wake up in pain. Our backs are stiff and hurt. Sometimes it's so bad it hurts to wake up. So we decided we needed a topper. We tried a firm one and that was bad. So now tried a soft one and it's working out perfect. No more pain or stiffness when we wake up. I will update my review if it ever changes. But so far my husband and I are both very pleased.

I have a Lucid mattress, and recently had a different 4" mattress pad on it but had to remove it because although very comfortable, it would move all over the place and was super annoying.The first night without it, I woke up with excruciating back pain and knew I would need another mattress pad. This one is great! It's not too tall (4" was just too much), it doesn't move on the bed and stays in place, and more importantly, my back pain was gone the first night I slept on it!The pad came compressed and had a chemical smell, so I let it decompress and air out for a day in the spare room. 2 days probably would have been better, smell-wise for those that are sensitive, but I wasn't going one more day on the bed without it!I've had it for a few weeks now and it still feels great. I don't know that I get any cooling from it since I'm a cold sleeper anyways and don't sweat when I sleep, but I'm just grateful to not wake up in pain anymore.

I have an adult child who spends their day making people feel better as a massage therapist, of all things. They love their work but it is taking a toll on their back. They were going to replace their mattress (which wasn't that old) but I got them this topper instead. I hope they continue to feel as positively as they do about this topper now. The ridges in the topper help cradle all the curves of their back, and facilitate air flow. They are telling me that it's made a world of difference in their back pain. I'm keeping fingers crossed that it continues to be this helpful. So far so good, and highly recommended.
