Plastic fittings just don't last in Az. The sun destroys the seats. This on should last.

I have misters on my patio that were a kit from the same manufacturer, but the connector to the hose was cheap plastic and failed in a year or 2. This part was a perfect fit, sturdy and should outlast the rest of the mister kit. I just wish this was part of the original kit as it's really the only part that can fail from stress.

While there was no documentation ANYWHERE on how to connect this to my 3/8 inch line, it simply "plugs in" and uses some sort of a compreesion sleeve to get the existing hose to stay. While I just started using it, the hose remained in place and there was NO leakage! :)

Very easy to replace the stock piece of a misting system which had cracked.

Works as it should for a good price

Any of these push lock fittings tend to drip a bit when not under full pressure. But it was my only choice due to the need to match an existing misting system.

Just what I needed to replace the plastic hose end that split.
