After reading many reviews about bed risers, we decided to purchase these because the plastic risers (even the heavy-duty ones) sometimes fail and collapse. These would be used on the queen sized bed of a wonderful 80 year old woman so risking injury to her was NOT an option. I love that these came with the option to purchase 6 risers since that is the number of legs on this bed frame. Many companies only sell them in sets of 4, requiring you to purchase two sets and being left with 2 "extras."Our bed frame has wheels and these risers are designed to work with wheels. So many of the reviews that mention collapsing seem to be caused by users who removed the wheels. This places a sharp edge with no way to distribute the weight properly. Keep the wheels on, if your bed frame has them. These risers include a rubber-like, u-shaped cup designed to stabilize the wheels. Inside the metal risers is a cross-bar design that runs the entire length of the metal leg. Even if the stabilizing cup were to fail, the weight of the bed would continue to be supported by the design of these risers.Additionally, these flare towards the bottom and have a rubberized bottom that will prevent your floor from being scratched or damaged.Assembly was easy and straightforward and quick.We have complete confidence that these will last forever and will never fail. They cost a little more than other risers on the market but the peace of mind knowing my mom is safe in her bed is priceless.This is a quality product that serves two purposes for us: it provides additional storage space utilizing dead space and it provides additional height to the bed making it easier for my mom to rise off the bed without assistance and without causing pain.We highly recommend these bed risers. Just don't try to modify your bed frame. These can be used with wheels/casters but will be equally effective with a standard bed frame. We got the 5 1/2 inch risers which are the perfect height for our needs.This company offers no incentive for a good review, this is our honest assessment of this product.

We bought a new bed ( mattress) that was not tall enough like the last innerspring we had. It looked so bad and low in our beautiful bed frame. I was not happy but did not want to go through the issue of getting a different bed. I looked all over for over 1 mo. I bought these , they are are fantastic! Gave us 6 inches. + that we need to make the bed look right. We are as happy as can be. Strong metal, easy to put together and I don't worry that they will fail like plastic could. I needed to buy 9 of them so I had 2 extra that I did not use. I will sell them on FB if someone needs them for a project or give them away. Wow , so happy with these!

I had been searching high & low for leg extenders to my adjustable bed base because I bought a vintage platform bed that needed to fit the entire base right above them bed frame & let me tell you these are spot on! They’re strong enough to hold my extremely heavy mattress & far beyond myself but also helped my bed to sit flush to the frame exactly like I needed it to. They also have rubber grips on the bottom which prevents them from sliding. I couldn’t move my bed if I wanted to so I’m happy it’s in a good position. It also gave my bed approx 5 1/2 inches of extra height because there’s a little dip in the middle to fit each leg into to avoid sliding. I don’t see them ever breaking because they’re made with metal instead of plastic so you can rest easy knowing they’re constructed properly.

Purchased these risers for my bed. Did not use the extra foam that is supplied for wheeled objects. The risers are easy to assemble. They are metal rather than the plastic ones previously purchased. Once placed on the bed, they teetered as bed was being made up, one leg had moved up onto the outer ridge. I had to lift and readjust the bed legs, then very slowly move the bed back next to the wall. There is a large base to the risers, which stick out from the legs of the bed. In my opinion, the risers would be sturdier if made in the pyramid shape that most of the plastic ones are made. This shape may also minimize the chance of tripping over the riser bases. However, the risers fit into a small box when disassembled, a pyramid shape would increase the storage size.
