I’ll start off by saying I’d buy these again, however product arrived with multiple small dings/small spots without coating. With that said, I plan on using a high gloss paint to touch up strictly to avoid rusting. On one hand, kinda miffed that a brand new product wasn’t coated correctly, on the other hand, these are rock solid shackles that I feel confident in. They come in a box in bubble wrap, so I doubt it was transport as box was not damaged. Threading seems good and whole thing feels strong. For $20, I’ll gladly touch them up, and be happy. They’re going to get ruined eventually, all I care about is them working and not rusting, so like everything in life, a little preventative and ongoing maintenance is key. PRO TIP- inspect shackles and touch up before using. Check inside holes.

Sturdy

Quality and price are very important features but the D-ring shackle must be strong and dependable so that life and property are protected when using the shackles. I will only be using the shackles during emergency extractions of vehicles so they must not fail. So far these shackles have functioned with any issues.

Awesome product for SXS and towing

I bought these to use on the trailer hitch receiver on my 2021 Ford F350 for attaching the trailer chains to. They were a little tight to install but once in are firm, don't rattle and are working well for my application.

Product came with chips in coating exposing the metal underneath. One shackle allready had rust (when not supposed to) showing in the chipped paint spots.
