Nikon quality
I bought a few new Nikon batteries. I buy real Nikon as I am not willing to risk my expensive camera to a battery issue will filming. I noticed that my prior set of batteries were from 2013 so no 12 years old. Yes the old batteries don't last as long as new, but heck they have lasted thru 2 Nikons so I can't complain.

Outperforms Predecessors and is Backwards Compatible
This battery outperforms all previous iterations of the Nikon EN-EL15 series in terms of power delivery and duration. It is also backwards compatible. I bought this battery for my D500 and was not disappointed.I like the fact that I can charge this battery right in my Z6III camera using a USB-C cable. This is very useful for topping up the battery with my vehicle's charger (or a power bank) while driving between shooting locations.Delivery was overnight with Prime. I am happy with my purchase

Replacement Battery for Nikon D850 DSLR - Original Nikon
Purchased from Amazon (not one of the third party sellers), this is the OEM Nikon battery and is the identical product to the battery that was supplied with my camera.Other reviewers have commented that they received a battery with an older serial number - the battery I received does have a serial number beginning in 2024, so there is no issue in my case.Considering that there are many sellers on Amazon for this particular product, I don't see any reason to purchase from anyone other than Amazon itself - the price (at the time of writing this review) is as good or better as any of the other sellers, it receives Prime shipping, and has support from Amazon itself which in my experience over many years has always been exceptional.
