Playstation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller (Black) (Renewed)

Product looks and works as described! Very clean, no scratches, cracks, or fading. Looks brand new and just what I needed. Now me and my family can play PS2 X-Men Legends 4 player mode 😁

The first one I ordered had a stuck right thumbstick, like literally it would stay all the way over to the right after you let go. And the D-Pad was like it was shorted out and would send lots of quick presses across multiple directions when you'd click one direction once. I returned that one and got "an exact" replacement.The second one seemed like it was restored with way cheap thumbsticks and triggers, testing it, it'd go from 0 to 32000 (max input) in like just 20% of the full hardware travel of the stick or trigger, for all of them. And it felt way lighter than a legit DS3 and rumble did not work in any games. I suspect the rumble devices were just removed since it felt so much lighter than it should, but I did not take apart to verify. I returned the second one for a refund and gave up on this company. I'm ok with used and restored, was willing to pay for that. But they weren't willing to send me anything that was a legit DS3 that was properly restored with decent parts, which the product page makes it sounds like they're all about high standards here, so maybe I just got really unlikely with the two pieces of not properly restored items they sent me :-/

If anyone is skeptical as to whether or not these are fakes and someone pulled a fast one on Amazon and fooled them (like they have with GameStop), these are indeed genuine DualShock 3 controllers. Mine came looking brand new. Not a scratch on it. It even had the OEM charger cable (it has a ferrite bead cylinder at the end).The true test is to put the PS3 in recovery mode. If you can press the PS Home button, the controller is real. Not a single third party or even licensed third-party controller works in this mode. A rare few will be able to turn the console on or even use the home menu in-game, but none will work in recovery mode with the PS Home button. Some will let you navigate the recovery OPTIONS. A genuine controller is needed when doing HDD swaps, for example. For the price, these are a steal. Get them while they still exist.

PS3 Controller arrived in Like New Condition. I installed a new battery as it still had the original, and it worked perfectly. No stick drift either. Clean controller.

Ok so here is my honest review on these controllers. Just for future reference, I bought 2 controllers and will refer to that later.Comparing them to my original PS3 Controller (which currently drifts on the left joystick) the feel for both of these controllers are nearly identical to the original. I played a few games of Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies just to test out them out and they are pretty well responsive. Well, except for one problem in each of the controllers I bought.For the first one, the left bumper (L1) is generally unresponsive. I have to press down on it really hard to be able to aim down sights, which I know will mess me up in the long run. The second controller's unresponsive button seems to be the square button. I noticed that immediately when I tried to interact with anything during my game.From what it looks like, It is entirely possible to fix these issues, but I may have to do a bit more research on these issues, just to make sure I don't mess anything up with my controllers.

Was weiry that it was gonna be an off brand but it wasnt, controllers came packaged nicely to ensure the joysticks and buttons would not be damaged. Paired right to my playstation and i still use them quite frequently

I was pleased with the product and the condition it was in except for one thing. As I was testing the controller by playing a game, the left toggle was not working properly.After pressing down on the left toggle to attempt to sprint in game, it would somehow press other buttons as well such as the triangle button and shoot the weapon all at the same time while pressing down on the left toggle.Fortunately, I was able to fix this issue by opening the controller, unscrewing the motherboard and find that the strip along with the black foam that's its attached to was not properly set in place. I applied electrical tape and rolled it up and placed it between the strip and black foam. Applied pressure and put everything back together.After all that, the controller performed well and faced no issues after and everything seemed fine.While it was in good condition, I would hope this review would encourage the seller to double check their products before sending it out. 👍

Controller battery inside the controller is dead an I cannot use it wirelessly, so pretty much waste money, I threw it in the garbage.
