Q: Is this a kit or already assembled?

I don't remember. My grandson opened it and was very happy with the product. Only wants the Japanese version since they are superior to the US versions.

Q: are the legs and arms flexible

The arms are flexible up to the shoulder there is no elbow joint but still cool. And the legs don't move

Q: What age group is this toy for?

This toy is aimed towards children around early to mid (maybe late) elementary school age. Though I’m a huge nerd and am collecting these for my self as an adult. Also I’m guessing your not familiar with the series that this is from. Uchuu sentai kyuranger is the current season/generation of Super Sentai (though it’s coming to an end soon and the new sentai will be starting). Super Sentai is the Japanese show that power rangers is based on and uses stock footage from. If your looking to buy this for your kid or some other kid, it would be really neat since the American version hasn’t gotten to this season yet and he/she will be ahead of the game. Also the Japanese versions of the toys r much better designed than the American ones and r more screen accurate. Also in case you’re wondering, kyuranger uses a space motif and each ranger and their individual robots r based off of constellations
