High quality powder, ships very well sealed
Be forewarned, I am very much a beginner when it comes to matcha. This matcha was a very nice experience. My whisking technique is not all that but the powder still dissolved very well and developed a nice crema. So far it has produced a nice grassy, earthy cup with a very light sweetness. Other reviews have stated this tea has no bitterness but I do detect a slight level of bitterness, I do not mind the bitterness and feel it adds to the complexity of the cup.I am not sure if the bitterness is simply due to my lack of experience in preparation or if there is some variance in bitterness in the teas delivered but it is worth mentioning.Tea arrived well sealed. The matcha powder was triple sealed, first by a seal around the can, then by a plastic seal within the can, and then the powder was sealed in a foil bag. After removing the outside seal and the foil bag, you still have the inner plastic seal to help keep the matcha fresh longer.Overall I am very pleased with this tea and have been enjoying the experience.

Good Quality
This matcha is absolutely delicious. I have tried lots of matcha the last couple of years and can definitely tell this is good quality. Biggest downside is it only comes in a 1.4 ounce container, which doesn't last me long. I usually buy my matcha in a lb bag for a better price than this, but it isn't as good of quality. So if you are looking for good matcha, this stuff is great. If you are looking for a large quantity of matcha, I'd get something else.

good quality
of all the Matcha i've tried through amazon vine, this is probably the best one yet. when you open the container you can already see the bright green matcha powder. This is ceremonial grade and just by the looks of it, it looks like a good high quality matcha.on to the taste: very smooth matcha flavor. love it! $22 for 1.4oz is not too bad. Matcha is always expensive but i highly recommend this brand over Maeda-en brand.

Excellent quality matcha!
I’ve tried a lot of matcha brands in recent years, and this one definitely is legitimate and of quality. It comes from the Uji region of Japan, which is known for their high quality matcha. In addition, I looked up the brand, and it’s really neat to read the story behind their operation as well as information on how they harvest the tea leaves. This matcha is vibrant in color, and it has a smooth, umami, and earthy taste you expect from matcha. It’s not bitter at all and has a slight natural sweetness to it. It dissolves well when using a chasen (or handheld electric frother).Overall, I’m impressed and would purchase this again in the future. As far as the price, it’s comparable to other ceremonial grade matchas from this region.

Excellent Matcha from the Uji Region of Japan
This matcha is excellent! A huge plus is that it is from the Uji region of Japan, which is known for producing the best quality matcha. This is ceremonial grade and is everything I would expect from a higher level/quality of matcha. It is a bright green with a very fresh aroma, it dissolves easily, and it is very smooth tasting and not bitter at all.Importantly, this is distributed in the preferred way to maximize freshness. The matcha was in a sealed foil bag and then the bag was in a tight sealed tin. This even had the extra step of a sturdy plastic seal within the tin.The price ($21.99 at the time of this review for the 40 gram size) is comparable to matcha I have previously purchased from a company that works only with farmers in the Uji reason, so to my view the pricing is right where it should be for matcha from Uji, Japan and for this quality level of matcha.
